The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (RBS) has appointed with immediate effect Gudrun Göbel as Chief Operating Officer of RBS (Luxembourg) S.A., its Luxembourg-domiciled independent Management Company and Fund Governance business. She reports directly to Revel Wood, Chief Executive Officer of RBS (Luxembourg) S.A., and is responsible for the Management Company’s Risk and Operational Oversight teams, as well as its standalone Fund Governance, Risk and Compliance monitoring services. Her appointment follows a number of recent key hires to the management team of RBS (Luxembourg) S.A., including the Head of Risk and Compliance, Slim Hamrouni, and the Head of Central Administration and Distribution Oversight, Ross Thomson.
