Banks, investment firms, UCITS management companies and external AIFMs: Recent developments in remuneration policy
Publication of the Capital Requirements Regulation and Directive (CRD IV package), the ESMA Guidelines on remuneration policies and practices (MiFID) and the final text of the ESMA Guidelines on sound remuneration policies under the AIFMD   The last weeks have been quite intense in terms of legislative and regulatory work in the field of remuneration policy. It suffices to mention in this respect the formal adoption by the EU Council and the publication in the Official Journal of the CRD IV package consisting of the Capital Requirements Directive and Regulation, the publication on the ESMA website of the Guidelines on remuneration policies and practices in the context of MiFID and the publication of the final text of the ESMA Guidelines on sound remuneration policies...
