The case for European equities despite euro worries

In this article, we review some of the overlooked strengths of European companies at this time.   Events in the eurozone in early September provided some relief from the negative news flow that has dominated the region over the last two years. Understandably concern about prospects for the European Monetary Union has overshadowed the positives for European stocks. Investors should however not lose sight of the arguments in favour of European equities, particularly as the discount in valuations versus other developed equity...
