Brazil recently emerged as the top destination for foreign investments in Latin America and is now the fourth worldwide. On its turn, Luxembourg ranked (Jan/12) Number One in the country list of origin of such investments. The following represents three alternative routes to invest in the Brazilian economy: Foreign Direct Investments (FDI), Portfolio Investments (PI) in private equity (FIP) and in real estate (FII).
