Laurent Tignard is to join the Edmond de Rothschild Group as Global Head of asset management. He will sit on the Group’s Executive Committee and report to Group CEO Christophe de Backer. With CHF 60bn (EUR 50bn) under management, 5 investment hubs throughout the world (Paris, Geneva, London, Frankfurt and Hong Kong) and over a 100 specialist fund managers, asset management is one of the Edmond de Rothschild Group’s strategic businesses along with private banking. The appointment of a new Global Head of asset management is part of the 2013-2016 strategic plan unveiled by Group CEO Christophe de Backer in December 2012.
