Fund outperforms despite challenging market conditions in Europe
Franklin Templeton Investments(1) is celebrating the 1-year anniversary of the FTIF Franklin European Income Fund(2) (the "Fund"), whose objective is to maximise income while maintaining prospects for capital growth by investing in equity securities as well as long and short-term debt securities in Europe. Launched on 17 November 2014, the Fund has returned 10.5% since inception, outperforming the category average by 3.6% and ranking in the top quartile of the Morningstar EUR Moderate Allocation category(3).
