Marc Hemmerling, Member of the ABBL Management Board, has been elected for a two-year term. He will represent the interests of the Luxembourg, Swiss and Liechtstein banking Communities. EPC is the coordination and decision-making body of the European banking industry in relation to payments. The purpose of the EPC is to support and promote the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). The EPC develops payment schemes and frameworks which help to realise the integrated euro payments market. In particular, the EPC defines common positions for the cooperative space of payment services.
