The EU-Russia gas relations have been the primary focus of the Brussels Energy Club since 2012, with more than 30 discussions exploring different aspects, from geopolitics to pricing. These relations are complex and multi-dimensional: with numerous stakeholders on the European side, including supra- national European institutions, and the Russian system with presidential institutional regime and the state-owned Gazprom’s monopoly over the pipeline gas export.
