The impact of COVID-19 on ESG, private markets and digitisation shows that crisis also mean opportunities.

It was on 10 January 2020, that is to say at the start of the current year and decade, that the private label fund service provider VP Fund Solutions declared that sustainable investments as well as digitisation are set to be major topics in the twenty twenties. This claim was substantiated inter alia by the policy of the globally active asset manager Blackrock, which announced in March 2020 that it would bring all its investment funds into line with ESG-relevant (environment, social, governance) investment criteria.
