The European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA) has elected its new President Thierry Thouvenot, Chief Audit Executive of KBL European Private Bankers and Board member of IIA Luxembourg. His election took place at the General Assembly held in Luxembourg on September 21, 2019. Thierry Thouvenot is taking over the Presidency from Farid Aractingi, who has completed his 2-year mandate as ECIIA President and was a Board Member for 5 years. Thierry Thouvenot has more than 25 years of experience in audit in the financial sector within major European countries.
