Darren Robinson has been appointed as the new President of the British-Luxembourg Society (BLS), succeeding Louise Benjamin who will remain on the council as the Outgoing President.
The BLS was established in 1947 to promote cultural, social, and economic ties between the United Kingdom and Luxembourg, and has since become a vibrant community of members passionate about the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the two countries. Founding members of the society include Pierre Werner, the 18th Prime Minister of Luxembourg, also referred to as the ‘Father of the Euro’.
