No one could dispute that we had just lived through a rather incredible and unique set of years. Who could have imagined such a scenario? The treasurer's life has been strongly impacted on many levels and for a long time to come. We are entering into new territories and lands that have never been explored before. It is up to us to adapt and reinvent ourselves, to put in place the structures for greater resilience and efficiency. The challenges are enormous, but at the end of the day there will be a fantastic opportunity to change the function and elevate it. Hail to the treasurers, those knights of finance, those intergalactic travelers, like the Enterprise in Star Trek.... A future that will never be simple is...
