The last 12 months have been truly challenging for financial market participants as they had to prepare being compliant with different directives linked to the European Sustainable Finance Action Plan, one of them being the entry into force of ESG MiFID2 directive, which requires financial institutions to collect ESG preferences of their clients and assess the level of adequacy between sustainable preferences and investment products.
