There is something profound that reinforces the need for the rehabilitation of the strategic states: these are the environmental challenges (climate change, disruption of ecological balances, eradication of species, the devastation of natural spaces, water problems, loss of biodiversity, acidification of the oceans, plastic pollution, etc.) that for too long have been placed alongside socio-political and economic articulations, whereas they are consubstantial with them and require global thinking. Our modes of production, consumption, and waste destabilize the ecosphere.
