Russian decarbonization strategy - another victim of the war in Ukraine

Yulkin is one of the leading pro-climate experts in Russia. Coincidentally, in the same month, just a few days before the Glasgow Climate Summit, the Russian government adopted the Strategy of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation with a low level of GHG emissions until 2050. That way, the government implemented its commitments from the Paris Climate Agreement, the Presidential Decree of November 2020 on the reduction of GHG emissions, and the Presidential Order of April 2021.
