AIG Europe SA (‘AIG Europe’), a subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) marked, on February 27, the official opening of its new European headquarters with a reception attended by Luxembourg Finance Minister Pierre Gramegna and a host of special guests, including clients, distribution partners, and employees.
AIG Europe began writing business in Luxembourg City on 1 December 2018, offering contract certainty to policyholders in response to Brexit. AIG Europe serves policyholders through an extensive branch network across 18 EEA countries and Switzerland, and employs over 2,700 people.
