On May 14, President Ilham Aliyev, while on a working visit in Brussels (after he met King Philippe), inaugurated the new embassy of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with Ambassador Fuad Isgandarov and architect Philip Vanherrewege who achieved the renovation of the building between 2016 and 2018.
Probably the most beautiful embassy of Azerbaijan in the world, the embassy has a total surface of 4,500 m2 including 10 apartments for the embassy staff.
