What is the updated benefit of CETA for both signatories?   I’m very proud of this agreement. I believe that this is a gold-standard trade deal. It’s a landmark agreement, and it will be the new global standard of progressive trade agreements – trade agreements that are good for the economy, great for the environment, great for labour, and great for people.   Canada and the EU agreed to make refinements to the investment chapter, including investment dispute resolution provisions, during the legal review of the agreement.   Canada viewed this as an opportunity to demonstrate leadership in promoting progressive, 21st century investment standards.   The modifications Canada and the EU made answer expectations for greater...
