Ambiguity and uncertainty. These are the two most obvious characteristics of the European economy at the moment, which, even before it had recovered from the effects of the Covid pandemic, found itself facing new challenges caused by the war in Ukraine. Uncertainty around prices, raw materials, gas supplies, production affects both people’s sentiments and expectations, as well as investments. There is also dynamism in investment strategies - on the one hand, a shift to more conservative products, but also the opposite - investments for the purpose of speculation and quick profit. Movement is also observed in savings.
