Uzbekistan GDP grew 8% in 2015 as compared to 2014. What are the components of this 10-year 8% growth period?   In 2015, industrial production increased by 8%, agriculture outputs by almost 7% and construction-assembly works by almost 18%. Investments in the economy grew by 9.5% and reached 15.8 billion $. Foreign investments accounted for 3.3 billion $ (or 21.1% of the total), among which foreign direct investments for 73%.   Uzbek President Islam Karimov has mentioned plans to achieve a 7.8% growth of GDP in 2016: industrial output 8.2%, agriculture 6.1%, retail 14% and services 17.4%.
