The International Conference on Competitiveness Strategies for the Small States of the EU, organized by the Observatory for competitiveness, in collaboration with STATEC and the Islands and Small States Institute of the University of Malta, took place on 19-20 April 2018 in Luxembourg.
The conference brought together national and international researchers, as well as the interested public, to discuss different issues on competitiveness, particularly with regard to the specificities of small states. Beside the three keynote speeches, six parallel sessions on strategies, entrepreneurship, economic development, global indicators, policy framework and social aspects gave informative insights and allowed fruitful exchanges.
