Pay transparency in the EU: New rules for equal pay in the workplace

With the 7 June 2026 transposition deadline now passed, employers should move from awareness to practical readiness: for any pay-related decision, firms will increasingly need clear criteria, reliable data and documented processes to explain how pay is set, how roles are compared and how differences are justified.
