Blockchain Law IV – what does it mean for Luxembourg's Financial Services and Fund Industry?

The latest legislative initiative, Blockchain Law IV, was adopted by the Luxembourg Parliament on 20 December 2024. Blockchain Law IV expands the existing DLT legal framework to include unlisted equity securities and introduces a new role known as the Control Agent.
