(Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG), today announced that Partners In Health (PIH) has selected the AMC-6 satellite to expand and enhance mission critical connectivity across Haiti. In the wake of the deadly earthquake that struck Haiti nearly a year ago, PIH has increased its investment in medical teams and dedicated satellite capacity. PIH doctors and nurses have long relied on SES WORLD SKIES’ NSS-806 satellite for broadband and videoconferencing capabilities at its hospital in the town of Cange, as part of a capacity deal that was renewed in January.
