The LSC strengthens its training offer in English language

The Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg is characterised by its cosmopolitan and multilingual population. Considering that 43% of Luxembourg’s inhabitants are foreign nationals and that some additional 150.000 commuters cross the border on a daily basis, this is particularly true in the working environment. According to a survey on the use of working languages in Luxembourg, for 55,8% of companies French is the main working language.   Luxembourgish ranks second with 20,0%, followed by English with 17,7% and German with 4,9%. Thus, English is the primary means of communication, correspondence and conversation in one out of five companies in Luxembourg.
