“Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive” (“AIFMD”) is the buzz word of the moment. All stakeholders of the alternative investment fund (“AIF”) industry start to see light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the final provisions of the new directive. Although the final text of the directive is not yet available, there starts to be level of consensus on many provisions in the directive.
