On 4 October 2022, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, François Bausch, participated in the ninth edition of the Warsaw Security Forum. François Bausch was invited as a speaker at two panel discussions and he had a bilateral meeting with Hanno Pevkur, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Estonia.
At the first panel discussion, entitled New Lend-Lease-Act – How to enhance NATO's Frontline States?, François Bausch emphasized the importance of keeping up European and transatlantic solidarity and military support to Ukraine, in order to allow it to defend itself, as enshrined in the UN charter.
